My name is Raquel and I’m from Kimberly, WI.
I never in my entire life saw myself as a personal trainer so getting myself to where I am now has been the best gift to me, from me.
I was a vet tech prior to being a trainer so it was a huge change in careers but one that I do not regret. I still love animals with a passion so in my free time you can bet I’ll more likely than not be pet sitting! If I’m not, you can find me outside hiking, or spending time with my loved ones.
I enjoy working with people of all ages, experience or no experience. I believe that not everyone has to train in the exact same way, even if their goals are the same. I take your base strength, mobility, and endurance into consideration before creating your personalized training program that will set you up for success. I will always push you but never set you up for failure.
In my experience, I find that most people who want to start getting into fitness are solely focused on their appearance- much like me when I first started my own journey. What they end up finding is that Fitness is so much more than just that. I’ve seen it client after client. You’ll find that your daily aches and pains that you “just got used to” are no longer there and you’ll realize that it was never normal to live uncomfortably and in pain. You will be so much stronger that everyday life movements will become easier. You’ll find that your energy levels have never been better- you’ll feel rejuvenated day to day in a way that you haven’t felt in a really long time! You’ll find yourself able to keep up and doing things you never thought you could. You’ll find yourself inspiring and setting examples for those around you- trust me, people will let you know how proud they are of you!
Fitness combined with proper nutrition, as put by one of my clients, is cheap health insurance. For you, and your loved ones- especially if you have little ones! They will grow up watching you take care of yourself and they will want the same for themselves. You are setting the example, so set the right one. It’s not selfish to spend time on yourself, it’s essential and necessary if you have people relying on you as you can only help them as much as you can help yourself.
Focus on moving and feeling better, and your physical appearance will improve much more than you thought possible. And it’s no wonder you hear it so much from people who invested in themselves- it’ll be the best decision you have ever made.
